The 10th District YPD under the leadership of Bishop Ronnie E. Brailsford Sr, and Supervisor Rev. Carolyn E. Brailsford went into action and showed what it truly means to be “Battle Ready!” At our Annual Youth Summit, youth and young adults from all over Texas came together with big hearts, strong faith, and a powerful mission.
Together, we collected over 725 brand new pairs of shoes to donate to Communities Partners of Dallas, helping children in foster care and children who have experienced abuse. Our goal was 500 pairs… but we didn’t stop there we laced up and leveled up!
We also donated over 100 gently worn pairs of shoes to Genesis Women’s Center of Dallas, helping women and families who are bravely stepping into a new chapter of life.
Why shoes?
Because shoes bring comfort, confidence, and dignity, and many children and families enter tough situations with very little of their own. A simple pair of shoes can help someone walk into tomorrow with hope.
The 10th District YPD is proud to stand strong, give generously, and serve boldly. This Battle-Ready mission proves that when faith meets action, change happens one step at a time!
Battle Ready! Faith Steady! Service Strong!
